Aivy had quite a week. Despite fighting off a cold, she was able to make it outside long enough to get her exercise. Notice the number of "bracelets" on her right arm. We consider it a sign of healthy eating.

She played with one of her favorite toys-- the garden variety rock.

She loves playing with rocks. She loves throwing them, collecting them, and using them as tools.

If this were a real literary or video narrative, this would be known as "foreshadowing."

She sometimes likes to help her Mom and Dad with chores around the house.

She likes to play in the water as well.

In the bathtub she has begun swimming...which might explain why she nearly jumped in the bucket.

Water tastes pretty good, too.

She loves to explore indoors as well as outdoors. She also found the domino set.

You can probably guess what will happen next.

Surprise! They all fell into her lap. Gravity test...successful.

Sometimes we really wish we could know what's going on in that little monkey head of hers.

Notice the body shape. She has hair like Daddy and a head shaped like Daddy's. Unfortunately, she has a belly like Daddy, too.

Here she is helping out with the chores again.

And another good one for Child Protective Services.

After her fever seemed to break on Saturday afternoon, we took Aivy to Mayfield Park to watch the peacocks. She LOVES birds.

Aivy stalked this peacock for about 20 minutes.

He was a friendly sort of peacock, but he sometimes made very loud noises and didn't let us get very close.

"Don't try to pet them!" Aivy said.

So she figured out a better way to approach the peacocks...using her friend the rock.
Aivy, violence is never the answer.

But the fish were quite friendly and allowed themselves to be fed by hand.
The End...of this week's episode. See you next time for another Aivy adventure.
