Aivy had an action-packed weekend as we packed up Linh's classroom, did some yardwork, and partied every night of the weekend. Aivy is trying to talk more than ever and just seems very excited to be four months old.
Aivy went out on Friday night with the Food Adventurer's group that has known her since she was but a twinkle. She was really well behaved during our Indian feast out at Sarovar. As always, we had a great time with Amy, Kyler, Briana, and Sparky.
On Saturday afternoon, Aivy partied with her friend Thu Suong who was just awarded her doctorate in education policy from the University of Texas. We went out for great Vietnamese food at Sea Dragon.
Thu Suong's husband Brendan also earned his doctorate from UT in education. I think that Aivy was smitten by Brendan's charm, beard, and funny facial expressions.
Then Aivy went out on Sunday night with Linh's coworkers from Walnut Creek Elementary in the bilingual Vietnamese program. Even though we forgot the camera, Aivy couldn't stop talking about it.
Aivy really likes doing impersonations. Here she is doing her version of a fish.
I think that this was a photo taken while Aivy was mid-belch.
