Notice the look on the kid's face. That's a kid that needs watching. But luckily he was on his best behavior at his party.

It was really great catching up with old friends who are doing much of the same things as we are. We share similar values and dreams for our kids.
Yesterday we really got to live out those dreams.

The weather was gorgeous, and so was everyone's families.

Including my own, of course.

There was no shortage of wonderment and adventure.

And of sweetness.

And of a shared sense of joy.

I really enjoy seeing friends and family discover that they have points of connection (in this case, a European talking to college students about studying abroad in Europe).

And family members trying to become family members with our friends (we think that Calvin has a crush on Aidinh, among others).

All our friends just seemed to enjoy being outdoors and clowning around. It's really the best way to spend the day.

Brother Rick was there to share in the fun. It seems that he knew many of the people already and those he did not know him liked him right away. Maybe it was because he and Calvin are tight.

And Cousin David is discovered that his neighborhood in Austin already knows the Whitworths.

I don't know what to say about this one.

How sweet. Notice that Calvin seems a bit jealous in the background there.

And the folks that helped make it happen, Raven and Abhi. Thanks again!
