Summertime Begins in Corpus

Several of our staffers have complained about the recent lack of Aivy coverage, so we're going to try to make up for that this week.




That doesn't mean that Calvin's antics will go unnoticed and undocumented.




We all visited with my Mom's side of the family during a very cool backyard reunion-type party at my Uncle Rick and Aunt Janet's house.

The moonwalk was a huge hit with young and old.


The kids also got in some quality downtime with Grandma and Grandpa Whitworth.


Crazy Uncle Tom was monkeying around with Aivy and Calvin when we went to visit my ailing grandmother. He was teaching them new tricks.

Despite the swimming, playing on the moonwalk, and the visiting with relatives, the highlight of the weekend for Aivy was undoubtedly eating the homemade ice cream at Grandma's. She has already eaten the dish full of ice cream. Now she's just licking the drops that fell on the plate below her dish.
