Calvin Shifts Gears After Six Months

Calvin finally found his toes this week. I know it doesn't sound like much, but we are counting it as another milestone.

Oh yeah, and he's able to crawl now, too. But babies holding their toes is just so much cuter.

The older one isn't so cute anymore-- she's starting to look like...ugh...I can't say it...

A little... GIRL!

Actually, Aivy bid adieu to babydom a long time ago but now she's really starting to look her age.

Calvin's still bright, shiny, and new.

Aivy's warranty expired already. Now she's getting by on personality.

Which, of course, is a quality that she has in spades.

Here she is trying to make armpit farting noises. Always a little lady, this one.

So let's talk about Calvin again. Calvin turns six months this week.

That means it's time for solid food. Oh yeah, baby. Let's hope he starts to sleep through the night.

He took to it fairly quickly. Swallowing proved to be the most difficult part of the eating process.

But Calvin blamed it on the equipment.

He's shifted gears and is now a fully functional baby. He's sitting upright, crawling, squawking, grasping, smiling, and now he's eating gruel.

Welcome to the world, Calvin.

Here's Calvin and Aivy wrasslin', as we say in Texas.
