Okay, so these aren't pictures of Aivy, but she did get a chance to celebrate the Harvest Moon Festival up at Linh's school. The Dragon Dance Team is always impressive.
So the kids had a talent show, we all ate some great Vietnamese food as a fundraiser for the Walnut Creek Foundation, then everyone went outside to light paper lanterns.
The lights are probably symbolic of something, but I don't know what it is.
Aivy thinks that her lantern is symbolic of a pumpkin.

Aivy can't seem to keep her tongue in her mouth these days.

Nor can she stay in one place. She's about a mover.
Here's Aivy clowning around with her favorite aunt, Yenmi.
This week's video may be the best yet. Turn up the volume and listen to that kid laugh.
Just try to be in a foul mood when you hear that laugh--it's physically impossible. I want to record it and send it to the Pentagon to play in downtown Baghdad. I think that everyone would just lay down their weapons and go home to play with their kids.
